\I dont just love Clarence Court eggs, I positively luxuriate in them. Their Burford Browns are an essential regular on my weekly Ocado their brown shells make me feel as if Im living a rural idyll with my own beautiful brood of chickens though all of them are fantastic, and I definitely have a soft spot, too, for the poetically coloured Legbar Blues. But all the varieties, with their gorgeous, deep-toned golden yolks, have a depth of flavour that turns the simplest everyday meal into a banquet. The only problem about them is that theyve utterly ruined me for all other eggs: once youve had these poached, soft-boiled or scrambled on toast, youll see what I mean!\

Clarence Court
In 1928, botanist and explorer, Clarence Elliott brought jungle fowl back from Patagonia to Stow-on-the Wold, Gloucestershire. These rare birds were crossbred to create generations of pedigree hens that to this day lay beautiful, colourful, hard-shelled eggs with deep yellow yolks.
Decades of experience have gone into caring for our fabulous birds ensuring their health and welfare (as well as that of the British farmers who care for them) are of the highest standard. Clarence Court birds lay at their own natural, slow speed, resulting in distinctively richer eggs.
